Following the cancellation of last Sunday's banger racing at Swaffham Raceway the event has been rescheduled for this Sunday, start time 1.30pm.
Heavy rain led to the track suffering the freak consequence of being waterlogged. The promotion would like to apologise to all the drivers and spectators who made the trip to the raceway only to be turned away, but would like to point out this was unavoidable in the conditions.
The banger team event takes centre stage this Sunday with about a dozen teams doing battle. In support are the Junior Bangers (banger racing for youngsters aged between 11 and 15), National Super Rods and Formula 1400's. The meeting will end with an ever popular Destruction Derby in which the last car left moving is the winner.
Admission is £9 for adults, £5 for young adults (under 16s) and OAPs and children (under 12) are free. For all the latest updates check out our web site at www.swaffhamraceway.com
