The top-of-the table clash in Division One of the Norwich and District League between Foxwood G and NCC A was decided by Guillaume Gentils.
On his debut at this level he won three exciting five-setters. Paul Price (NCC) gave good support with three enthusiastic wins, including a five-set thriller against Foxwood's Ian Taylor. The final result was 7-3 to NCC, as they push on in first place, just a point ahead of Foxwood G.
Wensum F beat SFC B 9-1. Singles maximums from Ross Gray, Ben Richmond and Nigel Metcalf secured all four points for Wensum F, with the away team picking up the doubles.
Electricity lost 7-3 to Taverham B while at St Faiths Centre, SFC A fought hard to share the points 5-5 against Wensum E.
In Division Three, most teams have caught up with their first-half matches, and Ex-Choristers remain in top spot. Taverham D are in second place.
