Trainer Neil Mulholland has a fine record at Fakenham and he looks to have three good chances of adding to his tally at the north Norfolk jumps track tomorrow.

His best chance looks to be in the opening contest on the six-race card which has a very early start at 12.40pm, when six go in the mares' novice hurdle over two miles.

Mulholland has Noel Fehily in the saddle on Owners Day, a six-year-old grey mare who caused a major upset when winning at 33/1 at Wincanton in November, before moving to join Mulholland's stable.

Main rivals are Taurian, a winner at Musselburgh last time under Brian Hughes for Ian Williams and Nicky Henderson's Comely under Jeremiah McGrath, the filly fourth last time at Worcester in May.

In the following Doreen Grange Memorial Hurdle at 1.10pm, Mulholland has seven-pound claimer James King in the plate on Soupy Soups, who carries a seven-pound penalty after winning at Wincanton earlier this week.

Champagne Chaser, Alan Johns, claiming a valuable three pounds for Tim Vaughan, has a chance despite finishing last at Kempton after a previous Huntingdon win, while former course winner Shinooki goes under Kielan Woods for trainer Alex Hales. Mulholland's other big hope is Admiral Kid in the finale, at 3.20pm, a maiden hurdle over two and a half miles.

The five-year-old gelding, with Fehily on board, was fourth of 12 at Plumpton three weeks ago and looks well in despite Henderson's Argante topping the market under Andrew Tinkler. The gelding was sixth at Ascot a month ago.

Third Estate, Aidan Coleman riding for Neil King, a Down Royal winner in the spring, also has a good chance having been second at Newton Abbott in September.

The £7,000 feature race is the 1.45pm At The Races Handicap Chase in which Cody Wyoming, under Daryl Jacob for Charlie Mann, is the likely market leader.

The 10-year-old has gone up six pounds after winning at Lingfield three weeks ago and could face a real battle with Drumlee Lad.

Brendan Powell rides the Johnny Farrelly trained six-year-old who was second at Doncaster after a win at Sedgefield, both in November.

Sean Bowen rides his trainer father's Peter's Play The Ace, who unseated in October at Fontwell in a competitive race featuring eight starters.

Biggest field of the day sees a dozen go to post for the 2.20pm two-mile hurdle in which Brian Ellison runs G'day Aussie under Hughes, the gelding up nine pounds since winning at Sedgefield in October.

Should the weight prove too much of a burden, Stepover, Woods and Hales, could take advantage by building on their mares' Plumpton fourth three weeks ago.

Top weight Being Global also has a chance, under Adam Pogson for Caroline Bailey.

Jack Andrews, younger brother of Gina and Bridget, both with fine win records at the course both under rules and in point-to-point meetings, rides the Pam Sly trained Bonnet's Vino in the 2.50pm novice chase, the mare third at Sandown recently having earlier won at Market Rasen.

Northandsouth under Sam Twiston-Davies for his dad Nigel, and Tommy The Rascal, partnered by three-pound claimer David Noonan for trainer Jenny Candish, are key rivals, the latter a Huntingdon winner a month ago.
