National Basketball League team CWA Fury from King’s Lynn look to stay in the mix
King's Lynn's CWA Fury will be looking to bounce back from last week's heavy defeat at Lynnsport this evening.
Norfolk's only National League basketball team lost 80-57 at Brentwood Fire, reversing the Fury's victory earlier in the season.
And even though the Lynn side sit comfortably mid-table in Division Four (South East), they know or a win or two will keep them in play-off contention as the business end of the season approaches.
Coach James Bamfield will be looking for some big performances tonight in the hastily rearranged fixture against London Westside II. Fury's opponents sit fourth, three places above them, and have only last three games this term compared to the hosts' five.
Bamfield told the West Norfolk Sports Podcast: 'It was a 10-point game (Brentwood) with about four minutes to go. We had a chance. 'We didn't play very well and we hadn't practiced since the 13th of December, which is a long lay off especially when you have got people who are amateurs.

'They're going away and having too much Christmas turkey and too much beer and we came back and we started poorly. We managed to stay in the game but the ball just didn't drop for us. I'm still optimistic and by the end of this week we'll be back into our rhythm.'
Doors open at Lynnsport at 5.45pm for a later than normal tips at 6.30pm.
