Moves to repair damage at Fakenham begin as Ghosts search for new manager

Fakenham have begun sorting out the mess at Clipbush Park.
The Thurlow Nunn Premier Division's bottom side host Hadleigh tomorrow and are now looking for a first team manager and assistant, having forfeited a game against Yarmouth recently.
Club stalwarts Doug Colman, Simon Barnes and Nolan Keeley, all former Ghosts players or managers have taken control of administering senior football and an extraordinary general meeting will be held at 7.30pm on Wednesday, November 8 to elect officers and set up a committee.

President and acting chairman, Bill Clayton, said: 'Fakenham Town FC, having had a turbulent couple of weeks with our first team, have seen things starting to move forward having appointed personnel to administer senior football, these being Doug Colman, Simon Barnes and Nolan Keeley who are all former players or managers of the club with a wealth of experience.
'As for the events of Tuesday 10th October the club can only apologise to Great Yarmouth Town again and reiterate that the situation was completely out of our hands.

'A massive effort from the club members and supporters has enabled us to complete our last couple of fixtures showing the passion that everyone here has for the club.
'We have an EGM scheduled for the 8th of November at the club with a 7.30pm start to elect officers of the club and establish the committee for the remainder of the season. In addition the club are advertising to fill the roles of first team manager and assistant.'

Elsewhere on Saturday, Wroxham host Haverill Borough, Yarmouth travel to FC Clacton and Kirkley & Pakefield travel to Haverhill Rovers.
Thetford are in FA Vase action, hosting Debenham in the first round proper, with Norwich CBS at home to Oxhey Jets.
