King's Lynn are facing a race against time to fulfil their Elite League fixtures.

The Stars – whose meeting was abandoned against Leicester on Monday – saw another home clash against Swindon, scheduled for this evening, called off due to a waterlogged track.

A Lynn spokesman said: 'After heavy rain throughout yesterday caused the track to become waterlogged, and with the forecast showing more downpours today, the promotion were left with no option but to postpone the meeting.'

Restaging dates are yet to be announced but both matches, plus the trip to Poole (September 2), must be completed before the September 7 pre-play-off cut-off date.
