Wroxham remain rooted to the bottom of the Ryman League Division One North table after a 3-0 defeat at promotion-chasing Maldon & Tiptree.
The Yachtsmen went behind in the 19th minute when Liam Nash opened the scoring for the home side and they doubled their money before the break thanks to Adam Mills.
Wroxham battled hard in the second half but Maldon & Tiptree put the result beyond doubt five minutes from time when former Needham Market striker Sam Newson finished well.
The Yachtsmen have technically been relegated but are hoping for their third reprieve in as many seasons. Chairman Kevin Attree is hoping Wroxham can finish above Great Wakering Rovers to give themselves the best possible chance of staying in the Ryman League Division One North.
Rovers are just one above the Trafford Park outfit after losing out 3-2 to Phoenix Sports at the weekend.
