MEN'S EAST CONFERENCE: Holcombe 1, Harleston Magpies 0 Magpies travelled to Holcombe with high hopes of recreating the form that saw them beat Southgate in their opening game of the season.
At the start of the second half Magpies renewed their pressure and James Fanger was unlucky not to score an early equaliser. The game hung in the balance until man of the match Carl Sitch was sinbined for a stick tackle. Magpies battled on, with Andy Hipwell forcing another save, but couldn't find an equaliser.
