King's Lynn claimed their second successive away win as they stormed to a sensational 50-40 win over Wolverhampton at Monmore Green.
Having conquered their away demons at Leicester earlier this month, the determined Stars overcame tricky track conditions to add four big points to their Elite League tally.
Although Wolves were depleted by the absences of Fredrik Lindgren and Tobiasz Musielak due to injury, they saw their perfect home record brought to an abrupt end by the Adrian Flux Arena outfit.
A heavy downpour shortly before heat one threatened the meeting – but after the Monmore Green track staff worked wonders it was King's Lynn who took the conditions in their stride.

Bjerre joined forces with Rory Schlein to give the visitors their breakthrough in heat three before Worrall, stepping in for injury victim Lewis Kerr, hit the front alongside Nicklas Porsing in the very next race.
Another classy triumph for Bjerre in heat six moved King's Lynn eight clear – and although Wolves hit back in the very next race the spectacular Robert Lambert and Worrall instantly restored the Stars' advantage.
Teenage sensation Lambert continued his fine form with a hard-fought display in the No.2 spot, demonstrating maturity beyond his years to notch a vital contribution.
Porsing and Schlein also scored solidly in the engine room of the side, whilst Ashley Morris struck a 5-1 with Worrall in heat 12 as he put in a strong showing against his former club.
Although No.1 Niels-Kristian Iversen endured a tough evening, bounced back from a tough start to win heat 13 and help ensure his side sealed all four points.
With no home meeting this week, King's Lynn will be back in action searching for their fourth successive win as they travel to table-topping Coventry on Monday.
