Injury problems were eased for Dereham Town in midweek, when striker Luke Tuttle returned from his own injury problems to score twice.

The Magpies won 2-1 at Waltham Abbey to keep their play-off challenge on track and boost morale after seeing Craig Bussens break his ankle in two places in last weekend's 3-1 loss at Wroxham.

That followed defender Jay Eastoe-Smith suffering a knee injury in the recent victory over Diss in the Norfolk Senior Cup semi-final.

Outgoing Dereham chairman Simon Barnes said: 'Both players have played a vital part in our success over recent seasons and we are holding a race night for them on Saturday April 11, following our home match with Brentwood, and it would be great to see as many people as possible to help support these two great lads.'

Matt Henman's side are now three points outside of the play-off positions ahead of hosting top scorers and second-placed team in Ryman North, Harlow Town, this afternoon.
