Lowestoft Town have completed a triple signing to kick-start the reign of new manager Jamie Godbold.
Connor Deeks, returning to the Blues after spells at Gorleston and Wroxham, and 19-year-old former Norwich City academy prospect Henry Pollock will boost the midfield ranks at the Amber Dew Events Stadium.
Pollock spent time on loan at Norwich United from the Canaries last season, before joining when he was released by City in January, and made 33 appearances as the Planters slipped back down to step five of the non-league pyramid.
Highly-rated striker Connor Ingram also joins after leaving Wroxham, where he scored 16 goals in 30 games in the Thurlow Nunn Eastern Counties Premier Division last season.
Alongside Deeks he helped new Lowestoft boss Godbold steer the Yachtsmen to mid-table after their relegation from the Isthmian League.
Previously the youngster had scored a remarkable 55 goals in 25 matches for Gorleston Reserves to earn a trial at Ipswich Town when he was 17 years old, scoring 29 in 50 league games for the Gorleston first team during 2016-17.
Trawlerboys legend Godbold, who was announced as Dale Brooks' successor last week, said: 'I have no doubt that they will all make great contributions this season and they and we hope they become more important given the right amount of time and support.
'We're working hard to bring the right players in who have experience to aid their progress as we don't want to put too much pressure on them too quickly.'
The triple signing follows on swiftly from the news that goalkeeper Elvjis Putnins and winger Armani Scharr – who score the vital goal which sealed survival in the 1-0 win at Met Police in April – have committed to the club ahead of life in the Evo-Stik Southern League Central Division.
'They tick a lot of boxes in what we're committed to try and do to the squad,' assistant manager Andy Reynolds added, speaking to Town's official website.
'They're all young, hungry and local. It was a case of making sure we have a full squad that can contribute at the level we're going to be competing at.
'Hopefully, the new signings that do come in will bring some experience that will help these guys to develop.'
