Struggling Lowestoft Town should have a much clearer vision of their future over the next few days.
The Blues are one of three clubs separated by just a single point at the bottom end of the table.
Fortunately for Dale Brooks’ side, it is Lowestoft who have the single point advantage, over Burgess Hill Town and bottom side Tooting & Mitcham United – and more games to extricate themselves from a tricky situation.
Their task continues on Tuesday night when they entertain fourth-placed Hendon – while Burgess Hill, who have played one game more, host Enfield (18th).
Fast forward two days and the rivals are back at it – Lowestoft travel to Harrow Borough (16th) while Burgess Hill host Leatherhead (eighth).
The weekend sees Tooting & Mitcham – who have currently played three more games than Lowestoft – join in, with a trip to Harrow Borough. Lowestoft go to met Police (10th) while Burgess Hill are at Leiston (seventh).
