Lowestoft suffered more fixture frustration on Saturday as their Ryman League Premier Division match at Thurrock was postponed.
The Trawlerboys travelled to Essex, only for the referee to deem that the pitch at Ship Lane was unplayable.
It was the only match postponed on Saturday in the division, and saw Lowestoft slip further behind the clutch of teams chasing leaders Whitehawk, who beat Canvey Island 5-4.
There was better news for the Blues yesterday as they announced that defender Curtley Williams has signed a contract with the club.
Williams made his debut in the 3-2 win against Enfield, sparking an unbeaten run of five games for Lowestoft. He has struck up an impressive partnership in defence with Sam Gaughran.
