Lowestoft Town face a testing schedule of two away games in the space of three days as their battle to avoid relegation from the top flight of the Bostik League hots up.
The cash-strapped Blues – who have just signed Southend attacking midfielder Renei Batlokwa on loan for the rest of the season – travel to Brightlingsea Regent on Monday afternoon before hitting the road again on Wednesday to take on Harrow Borough in an evening fixture.
Both sides are only just above Lowestoft in the table, although in far less trouble, and the Blues will be aiming to get their points tally moving again to keep clear of the one relegation spot.
They are currently on a run of four straight defeats but manager Dale Brooks is convinced they are due a win after putting in an impressive performance in a last-gasp 2-1 defeat at high-flying Folkestone Invicta in midweek.
'If we play as well in the next two games as we did on Tuesday we will certainly get something from them,' said. 'I was so proud of the way the lads performed at Folkestone, they were a real credit to the club, and now it's vital we maintain those standards.'
