The problems are piling up for Lowestoft Town.

The Trawlerboys are facing financial issues which are having an inevitable impact on the playing side.

With players having departed, manager Dale Brooks finds himself in a tough position and admitted after the weekend's 2-1 home defeat to bottom club Burgess Hill that he would struggle to name his side for their next match.

That problem comes on Tuesday when Lowestoft travel to Folkestone Invicta.

Brooks is in no need of extra worries but the Trawlerboys are in desperate need of a win: they are currently third from bottom, five points clear of Burgess Hill, who have a game in hand, although they have two games in hand on Tooting & Mitcham United, who are two points behind the Blues.

Tonight's opponents are in a very different position, sitting in second place in the table – five points behind leaders Dulwich Hamlet – and unbeaten in their last seven league games.
