Lowestoft Town chief confident Blues will get back on track
Lowestoft Town joint boss Micky Chapman believes it is far too early to be worrying about the Blues' position in the league table and predicts the club will still be fighting it out for honours at the end of the season.
The Trawlerboys were frustrated in their bid to climb from their current 10th position at the weekend when a waterlogged pitch accounted for their match against Hastings at Crown Meadow.
The Blues travel to Enfield tomorrow, weather permitting, and while Chapman admitted it has been a difficult spell for the club, losing three out of their last four games, he remains confident the club can make a big push in 2013.
'We can't start worrying about the league table at this stage – there are so many teams in this league who have got a big shout of being up there and we are still one of them,' said Chapman, whose side has been decimated by injuries recently.
'It's still very early days and it's a long old season – we've always said that it's a marathon not a sprint and it's the teams that show consistency that will be up there at the end of the day.

'It's very close at the moment – no-one is really putting a run together and it's a very close league. There will be a side at some stage that puts a run of wins together and we are capable of doing that. If you're in the mix around Christmas time then you're going to be in with a chance.'
Chapman revealed the management team are working hard on reinforcements to the squad after adding goalkeeper Andrew Plummer to the ranks last week.
