London Olympics glory will have to come the hard way for Lowestoft boxer Anthony Ogogo after he was handed a supreme challenge in Friday afternoon's draw.

The 23-year-old Lowestoft ABC fighter was given a decent opener in lowly ranked Junior Castillo Martinez from the Dominican Republic for his Olympic bow.

It means Ogogo has a good chance of making progress against the 26-year-old fellow Olympics debutant at the start of his 75kg men's middleweight division campaign, at Excel Arena on Saturday afternoon.

But should Ogogo manage to that, then things will immediately get a lot tougher.

World number one and top seed Ievgen Khytrov would be waiting on Thursday, having received a bye in the first round.

The 23-year-old Ukrainian became world champion and while victory for Ogogo would certainly open up his draw, the initial task ahead is plenty tough enough.
