Lowestoft and Yarmouth bowed out of the Intermediate Cup at the third round stage on Saturday after a brave display against last season's Senior Vase winners Teddington at Gunton Park.
The hosts gave a good account of themselves before going down 23-15, with Stephen Powles and Scott Nelson scoring their tries and Russ Chapman adding a conversion and a penalty.
Elsewhere Norwich had an early bye into the fourth round of the Senior Vase when scheduled opponents Sheppey conceded the tie while Wisbech beat Thetford 66-12 in the Junior Vase.
