Diss return to league action against bottom-of-the-table Braintree in London 2NE on Saturday.
They need to get back to winning ways after the tough cup game against Maidstone in order to maintain top spot and prepare for what is likely to be the most crucial game of the season on March 21 at Chelmsford. Between now and then Diss play Braintree and then Old Ignatians away and Norwich at home.
The Maidstone game certainly had an effect on a number of players, with John Laurie sustaining a rib injury and Warren Wilby tweaking a hamstring. Both players rest this weekend and are replaced by Ewan Lawton and Kieran Pask respectively. It's another a chance for these two exciting youngsters to show their potential in front of what undoubtedly going to be a large home crowd.
Josh Ludkin played at full back last weekend but now reverts to his normal position in the centre, partnering Jack Keppel. In the forwards Henry Passmore starts from the back row in place of John Laurie and Ryan Carter starts at hooker for the injured Chris Craven.
