Thomas Boardman of Loddon played in the bronze-level badminton tournament in Hatfield recently.
After narrowing losing 21-20 to the seed in his group in the singles, he teamed up with follow Norfolk county member Ben Page for the doubles tournament.
They won their group, defeating the seeded pair 21-15, and progressed through the knock-out stages before finally losing in the semi-final to the eventual winners.
Tom had played for Norfolk the previous day in the county match against Northants, which Norfolk won 12-8.
Tom's next tournament is the season-ending National Championships.
