Wroxham went down to a disappointing 2-1 defeat at home to Brantham in the Thurlow Nunn Eastern Counties Premier Division.

The visitors went in front in the second minute through Sam Cole before Matt Doyle equalised shortly after. However, Brantham had the last laugh thanks to Michael Brothers' lobbed effort in the 64th minute.

Kirkley & Pakefield are now level on points with the Yachtsmen in seventh place as won 3-2 against Newmarket Town at Walmer Road. Kaiden Goldspink hit two of the goals with Kyle Haylock also on target for the Royals.

Norwich United moved up to 11th after a thrilling second half performance against Walsham le Willows. Ben Fowkes broke the deadlock in the 54th minute pressuring the defence and lobbing Stobbart before hitting home into the net. Liam Jackson doubled the lead 15 minutes later latching onto Finlay Barnes delightful through ball before striking into the far corner from an acute angle.

Fowkes saw a second chalked off for offside against Jackson, Jordan Forbes forced a save from Stobbart and Barnes lobbed over but the visitors barely threatened and the Planters were worthy winners.

Valter Rocha was on target for Thetford Town but he couldn't stop the Brecklanders going down to a 3-1 defeat against Stowmarket.

Harleston Town flexed their muscles at the top of First Division North as they beat Debenham LC 7-0 to remain seven points clear. Lawrence Cheese hit a hat-trick whilst Nathan Stone, Nathan Russell, Scott Roberts and Owen Betts were also on target.

Mulbarton stayed in touch of the leaders though thanks to a 3-2 win at home to Cornard United. Tobias Oliver, Ben Thompson and an own goal giving the south Norfolk side victory.

Swaffham Town remain very much in the promotion mix though as Ben Coe's double saw off March Town to leave the Pedlars eight points off top spot but with three games in hand over Harleston.

Bradley Hunt got the only goal of the game in Diss Town's win over Needham Market Reserves whilst Fakenham Town were held to a 0-0 draw against Ipswich Wanderers.

King's Lynn Town Reserves won 5-1 against Sudbury Reserves whilst Downham beat Haverhill Borough 5-2 on the road - Jack Frohawk netting four of the goals with Matthew Calvert also on target.

Anglian Combination Premier

It's as you were at the top of the Anglian Combination Premier Division as the top-of-the-table clash between Caister and Sheringham ended in a stalemate.

The second-placed Shannocks went into the match on the back of a 12-match winning streak but Chris Wigger's side fell behind to the leaders as George Barnden gave Caister the lead on the half-hour mark.

However, Sheringham struck back just before the break as Jake Page's effort made it 1-1.

It means Sheringham stay a point behind Caister, who have played a game more.

Third-placed Long Stratton were unable to take advantage as they were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Acle United leaving them four points off top spot. James Bemrose was on target for Stratton whilst Harrison Tooley struck for Acle.

Waveney could yet get back in the title mix as they cruised to a 3-1 win at home to Hellesdon courtesy of goals from Alex Meakin, Bradley Hough and Connor Swann. Liam Mann replied for the visitors.

Bradenham Wanderers claimed an impressive 2-1 win at Wymondham thanks to goals from Jamie Barrett and Sam Childerhouse.

Mattishall (Xavier Huckle and Tom Baird) and Beccles Town (George Brown and Luke Bailey) fought out a 2-2 draw whilst Fionn Goodwin-wright was on target in St Andrews' 1-1 draw with Blofield United, whose goal came through Orren Oliver.

Anglian Combination Division One

In Division One Mundford hit six of the best to stay three points clear of the top as goals from Ian Fancett (2), Liam Farnham (2), Paulo Martins and an own goal did the damage against Reepham Town.

UEA remain in second thanks to a 4-1 win against North Walsham Town - Brendon AYres, Mohammed Hassan (2) and Henry Clark getting the goals.

Aylsham were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Bungay Town - Kieran Belton was on target for the hosts whilst Dom Mearner replied for Town.

George Crowe hit a hat-trick in Easton's 7-2 win at Hindringham whilst Callum Kindred bagged a braced in Attleborough Town's 5-0 romp against Thetford Rovers.

Yelverton and Stalham Town were involved in a 0-0 stalemate.
