King's Lynn Town are preparing for a testing double header, with two away games coming up in the space of three days.

The Linnets take on lowly Hayes and Yeading today and must then regroup on Monday evening for a much shorter trip to Cambridge City, another side battling against relegation,

Gary Setchell's team are safely ensconced in mid-table and under little pressure, but they will be keen to maintain the momentum created by a decent run of results in recent weeks. They are now unbeaten in six games in all competitions, with a midweek win over Wroxham in the Norfolk Senior Cup following four draws and a victory in the Premier Division of the Evostik League.

The Linnets will be without Ryan Hawkins, who needed hospital treatment after sustaining a six-inch gash to his left shin at Cirencester last Saturday. The striker is now thankfully on the mend but is unlikely to play again this season.
