Likely favourite with the stadium bookmakers should be Hellfire Harry, trained by Jenny White. He recorded the fastest semi-final win, some three lengths quicker than first semi-final winner Glenske Hayes and over four lengths quicker than third semi-final winner Michaels Boy. Trained by Ian Brown, Michaels Boy has the early speed to outpace Hellfire Harry, while Glenske Hayes has the power to out finish him. `Completing the line-up are Michael Clare trained Daves Nipper, Ray Pleasants trained Riverside Lark and Peter Paternoster's Glengar Sarah.
