Kirkley & Pakefield and Dereham Town will battle it out this evening for a place in the semi-finals of the Ridgeons League Challenge Cup at Walmer Road, kick-off 7.45pm.

The tie had to be called off last week due to a waterlogged pitch but they will try again tonight, with both sides coming off good results at the weekend.

The Royals eased their relegation fears by claiming a 1-0 win at Woodbridge courtesy of Dominic Smith's second half strike whilst Dereham hit five without reply past Newmarket.

Kirkley will be confident of victory if their league encounters are anything to go by. Paul Tong's side won 4-1 at Aldiss Park back in October before drawing 1-1 in the reverse fixture.

The winners will take their place in the last four of the competition alongside Stanway Rovers, Norwich United and Wroxham, who booked their spot thanks to a 2-1 win against Haverhill on Saturday.
