King’s Lynn Young Stars forced to wait for National League season opener

Rain has forced King's Lynn to postpone their second meeting this week.

On Monday, the Stars' Elite League clash with Coventry Bees – set to be televised by Sky Sports – fell foul of a poor forecast. And now this afternoon the Young Stars' National League season opener at home to Eastbourne Eagles has also been called off because of the wet weather – and the expectation that more is still to arrive later today.

The call-off means the Young Stars will now kickstart their campaign at home to Stoke Potters on Wednesday.
