King's Lynn Young Stars manager Dale Allitt has completed the construction of his team for the 2015 National League with the addition of returnee Scott Campos and new arrival Layne Cupitt.

Ipswich-born Campos, 25, has experience in British speedway's third tier but Allitt expects him to improve his average this year as he starts the season in the main body of the team.

Allitt said: 'Scott is our asset and he is another one who increased his average over last season and showed some improvement.

'He came back and put his average up by a point last year and I expect him to push on this year.'

Newcomer Cupitt is no stranger to the Norfolk Arena race track as he was part of the 2014 Lightning team which competed in the Midland Development League.

He also has a former world champion to turn to for advice in the shape of Tai Woffinden. The Brit is the partner of Cupitt's sister, Faye.

Allitt commented: 'Layne on the other hand is coming into the league for the first time.

'He rode for the Lightning team in the MDL last year so that has given him some experience. He has real talent and we are delighted he is part of the team.'

The pair join James Cockle, Tom Stokes, Shane Hazelden, Josh Bailey and Ryan Kinsley at Saddlebow Road next season as they look to challenge for the NL title.

The club's senior side are still waiting to name the last member of their seven-man line-up following Joe Jacobs' decision to take a year out of the sport. Niels-Kristian Iversen, Kenneth Bjerre, Rory Schlein, Robert Lambert, Nicklas Porsing and Lewis Kerr have already been confirmed as Stars riders in the 2015 Elite League.
