King’s Lynn Town’s rock-solid Wall facing up to 10 months out with knee injury

King's Lynn Town defender Stuart Wall expects to be sidelined for about nine months with a serious knee injury.

The centre-back, who hurt himself while warming up at Soham during pre-season, is still to have an MRI scan on his knee.

However, a specialist has told Wall he is 'confident' that Lynn's player and players' player of last season has ruptured his anterior cruciate knee ligament.

The defender says the scan will determine the 'extent of the injury' but is already preparing to be out for nine to 10 months.

The 25-year-old, who admits he is 'gutted' but not shocked by the news, will require surgery.
