Businesses have until the end of the month to express their interest in sponsoring King's Lynn Town next season.

Linnets vice-chairman Jonathan Chapman says a number of companies have approached the club but 'no firm agreement' has been made with any of them.

And as recently-promoted Lynn, who will be playing in the Evo-Stik Division One South next season, continue to look for a replacement for Brittons Estate Agents, Chapman insists the club remain 'open to interest' up until June 30.

Chapman said: 'We've had a number of companies showing interest but nothing has been signed yet. We have to ensure that any deal is entirely right for the club and the company.

'Ideally, a West Norfolk-based business will want to go hand-in-hand with the club to our benefit, and theirs. After all, everyone knows how high-profile the club is in the town.

'Outside of Norwich City, we have the highest attendances of any football team in Norfolk. The club is going places and I'm sure firms will still want to come to us and get involved with King's Lynn Town while they have the chance.'

Brittons 'team' sponsorship of the Linnets lasted for the full two seasons after Keith 'Buster' Chapman took over as chairman of the reformed club in 2010.

The Walks outfit are looking for a similar 'top-tier sponsor' to help take the club forward as they prepare for Step Four football.

Lynn's chairman said: 'There's still a big opportunity for a company to get involved with us and ideally we are looking for a long-term deal which will mean a higher impact for their business.

'They'll get their name on our team shirts, their logo on the club's tracksuits, branding around the ground, adverts in the programme and the use of our matchday corporate facilities.

'Brittons benefited from their sponsorship of us and a new sponsor will too. Their name will be seen in the local papers and at the games by thousands of pairs of eyes every time.'

Keith previously said, in a statement released by the club: 'Everything comes to a natural end and I would like to thank Brittons for their two years of support.

'They have been a great company to work with and their decision not to continue leaves the opportunity for another company to join us.'

Peter Britton, of Brittons Estate Agents, said: 'The club has really helped to establish us as the leading estate agent in King's Lynn.

'They have helped look after us in every way and the money we have spent supporting the club has paid dividends. I wish the club every success for the future after a fantastic two years.'

Any companies that are looking to find out more details need to contact Lynn's marketing manager, Charlotte Rham, on 01553 760060.

The club expect to have a deal tied up before their opening pre-season game of the summer at Yaxley on July 10. The Linnets will find out their league fixtures for the forthcoming campaign on July 13.

Prior to that, and the first home friendly against St Neots (July 14), an open day is set to be held at The Walks on June 30. Lynn are also scheduled to play Dereham Town away (July 17), Wroxham at home (July 21), Cambridge City away (July 24), Lowestoft Town at home (July 28), Peterborough Northern Star away (July 31) and Spalding United away (August 4) this summer.
