Both players were cornerstones of the Linnets' success last season, which saw them finish second in the Evo-Stik Premier Division on 100 points before losing out in the play-off final to Slough.

They have signed new one-year deals with the club as Lynn look to go one better than last season.

Blake-Tracy was signed from Lowestoft Town last summer after impressing for the Trawlerboys as he made the switch across East Anglia with Ryan Jarvis.

His performances down the left-flank and at centre-half were one of the features of Lynn's promotion campaign last season.

Gash joined the Linnets after being released by Barnet in 2017 following a cruciate ligament injury. However, the big striker showed few signs of wear and tear for Ian Culverhouse's men during the last campaign, acting as the focal point for Lynn going forward scoring 14 goals in the process.

New Lynn chief Clark is delighted to get both back on board for next season's crack at promotion.

'Frazer is a rare breed. He is really steady in both his outlook and demeanour and is a young man who can play in the really big games at this level,' said Clark, speaking to the club's official site.

'I watched in both of the play-off games and he was very composed. He can play in a couple of positions and I believe there is still more to come.

'He is a tremendous asset for the football club.

'Frazer wants to push on and that's a massive thing. He's a great kid and I can't wait to start working with him.'

On keeping Gash at the club, Clark added: 'When I came to the club I was totally honest and open with all of the players and they all spoke so highly of Gashy.

'He's a vital cog for this football team.

'You need someone you can hit and also somebody who can score you a reasonable amount of goals and Michael does both.

'Having spoken to him in length he's still a good pro, but the most important thing is that he still remains hungry to produce the goods on the pitch.'
