King's Lynn produced an impressive first half performance in Suffolk to get back to winning ways in emphatic fashion.

The Linnets had drawn a blank in their two previous fixtures, both at home, losing 1-0 to Ashton in the FA Cup before being held to a goalless draw by Stratford in the League.

But after going behind to a fifth minute strike from Matt Blake the goals flowed at fourth placed Leiston, with the visitors scoring four times before the break to effectively seal the points.

Recent signing Adam Marriott got the Linnets back on level terms in the 14th minute with his first goal for the club before a spell of three goals in nine minutes saw the visitors take complete control. Chris Henderson made it 2-1 on the half hour mark with his first league goal for Lynn and Ryan Hawkins quickly stretched the advantage before Michael Gash added a fourth in the 39th minute. The icing on the cake was provided on 81 minutes when Michael Clunan completed the scoring.
