Gary Setchell admits King's Lynn Town must rediscover their ability to keep clean sheets if they want to get back to winning ways.

Much of the Linnets' Evo-Stik Division One South title-winning success was built around a rock-solid back four that only shipped 46 goals in the league last season.

A run of nine shut-outs in their final 13 games helped earn promotion but the same core of players, plus new-boy Ryan Clarke, have conceded in all but one of their nine Evo-Stik Premier Division fixtures this term.

And Setchell insists they simply have to improve if goalkeeper Danny Gay doesn't want to be beaten nine times again in their next two matches.

The Lynn boss said: 'I've got to find a way, or some people who can keep clean sheets. I mixed it up on Tuesday and gave (Ryan) Fryatt a chance.

'He didn't do no better or no worse than anyone else. I'm not pointing the finger at him, because we're conceding all types of goals.

'After Saturday and Monday we then play for three Saturdays so we can get on the training ground during the week. Me, the players, the staff, we've got to work hard to either make these players better or we get found out.

'If we keep conceding fours and fives I'll have to make changes, if not I'll get changed myself.'

One player who could be missing from his team's push to improve is left-sided defender Jason Lee.

He took to Twitter last night to suggest he was off to the fracture clinic to assess an arm injury picked up during Tuesday's 4-0 home league defeat to Matlock Town.
