Two 100pc records were at stake in a top of the table Division Two clash at River Lane - and it was William Burt who kept theirs after beating Maltings 4-2.

Ben Ridgewell opened the scoring for Burt, and Kyle Plumb equalised, before Toby Rust and Nathan Mitchell increased Burt's lead.

Plumb's second gave Maltings a glimmer of hope but Ridgewell completed his brace in the dying seconds to seal the win. Maltings remain ahead of Burt, by virtue of goals scored, having played one match more.

Third-place FANG kept up pace with the league's top two by thumping Maids Head 7-0. Scorers were Michael Rix (2), James Buhlemann, Sam Hewitt, Tony Thaxton and Joseph Malby - who netted a 60-yard screamer.

Ben Whitby's brace plus finishes from Andy Thompson, Mark Sherratt and an own goal saw Terrington score more goals in one game than they had in their previous three.

In Division One, Pott Row Old Boys blew a lead for the third time this term to allow March Saracens to pick up their first win of the campaign. Dan Fuller and Lee Clarke had put Row two-up before Ash Taylor (2), Dayne Moore and Ben Efurio secured Saracens' opening victory - in the league sponsored by West Norfolk Scaffolding.

Chilvers put themselves back in the title race with an emphatic 4-1 win at championship contenders England's Hope. Mikey Woodhouse's double plus goals from James Tricks and Ben Oliver helped their side pick up three precious points. Luke Jackson scored for Hope.

Second-placed Wisbech CP8 made it four wins on the bounce by beating White Bell 4-2. Ricky Gunns (2), Wayne Morton and Sam Murphy found the net.

They moved level on points with Terrington - who remain ahead on goal difference having played one game less - with the league leaders keeping up their 100pc record courtesy of a fortunate 2-1 triumph at home to Lynn Napier.

Sam Moses had rocketed winless Nap in front but, with 10 minutes left, a quickfire double from Andy Prior and Ian Prudence saw Terrington home.
