England's Hope exacted sweet revenge for last week's League Cup semi-final defeat against Terrington, by beating them 5-2 in the Cherrington Cup, to earn a second straight final appearance in the competition.

Hope were never behind and Terrington seemed a shadow of last week's side who performed so admirably. Scoring for Hope were Michael Chow, Paul Richardson, Matty Bussens, Dean Jimson and Ben Jimson. Matty Prudence and Philip Goodman-Fower scoring nothing more than consolations for Terrington.

Special mention to Chris Pegg for his refereeing performance.

Fang belied their Division Two status against Division One Wisbech CP8 in the League Cup semi-final, to reach their fourth final this season. The 9-4 score line was emphatic, and CP8 ended up with nine men after two red cards.

Fang thoroughly deserved the win and were never behind, although after leading 3-0, CP8 pulled it back to 3-2 and then missed a penalty before Fang romped home.

Scoring for Fang were Olly Parker (three), Alex Vincent (two), Harry Cunliffe (two), Colin Buffham and Tommy Rix.

Chilvers progressed to their second final of the season, with a resounding 7-3 win against Old White Bell in the Division One KO Cup semi-final.

That man Danny Jezeph bagged his second five-goal haul of the season, with Joe Jackson scoring a brace. John Murphy, Justin Lee and John Sykes were on target for Bell.

Terrington Reserves put up a brave fight, before succumbing 8-3 to Adrian Flux in Division Two. Oliver Shirley bagged a hat-trick, Peter Sanctuary (two), Chris Smith (two) and Kyle Benefer scored a penalty. James Van Der Velde scored twice for Terrington, with Ben Whitby also scoring.

Elm gave Burt a real scare with a brave performance, before Burt ran out deserved winners 4-2, after falling behind twice.

Only goal difference can stop Burt being promoted now as they only need one more point to confirm promotion.

If Fowler and Maltings drop any points, that also secures Burt's Division One status for next year. Dave Abbott finished expertly twice for Elm, with Alex Forth, Ryan Smith (two) and Pete Clarke scoring for Burt.
