King’s Lynn Sunday League round-up: Battle of the Burts is won by the William
William Burt faced off against the club's former Saturday side – now King's Lynn Sunday League Vulcatech – and emerged 4-1 victors.
Chris Edgar scored twice and forced an own goal with Ben Ridgwell sending a cross over the 'keeper's head. Dan Thiel-Ford smashed in from the edge of the box for a last minute consolation.
Maltings also gained their first Division One victory with a 10-0 win away at Wisbech Wanderers. James Tricks (5), Kris Smith (3), Kyle Plumb and an own goal secured the rout.
Champions Terrington kept up their ominous early season form with a 9-1 win over Horsepigs. Neil Goodbourn, Matty Prudence and Robbie Palmer all scored braces, with Ian Prudence, Kaz Beetlestone and Dean Twaite-Smith also bagging.
In the battle of the reigning county champions, Chilvers and FANG played out a hard-fought 1-1 draw. Liam Bowley scored for Chilvers, and Harry Cunliffe for FANG. Gaywood Park Rangers and CSKA Emneth drew 0-0.
In Division Two, West Lynn picked up their first win with a hard fought 4-2 victory at Fleet Rangers. Nathan Young, Tim Connor, Matty Shelton and James Van Der Velde netted.
Long Sutton beat River Lane 6-1. Jack Moy scored for 'Lane, and for Sutton, the goals came from Joe Harrison (2), Kane Robinson, Tim Lowe, Jimmy Ward and Sam Cooper.

Adrian Flux also remain unbeaten after an emphatic 8-1 demolition job of Hustlers. Jon Howlett helped himself to a hat-trick, with goals also for Matt Sopp, F Pezzella, K Thompson and Kieran McKender. Ben English scored for Hustlers.
Hunstanton Town have won two out of two and continued their impressive start by beating a good Clenchwarton side, 5-1. Chris Scamell continued his fine run of form by scoring for the second week running for Clenchwarton, but it wasn't enough as Jack Lincoln, Lloyd Drewery, Jordan Penty, J Rudd and L Battersby scored for Town.
Maid's Head edged CR Eastern Province 3-2 in a game that changed lead three times.
C Hunt and C Morais scored for CR, with Ollie Mitchell, Jamie Palmer and Rhys Williams finding the net for 'Head.
Elm lost 16-1 at home to March Saracens – who sit top with a goal difference of plus-25 after two games. James Towley scored for Elm, with Ash Taylor (4), James Harrison (3), Max Kulzez (3), James Hazel (2), Marcus Larham, Karl Summersgill, Aaron Connor and an own goal scoring for March.
