King's Lynn Stars clash at Belle Vue tonight is off.
The hosts, in a statement on their website, said: 'It has been decided to postpone today's meeting due to the current weather and forecast of continued light and possibly heavier rain this evening.
'We are making the decision now to ensure all our fans are notified well in advance and equally for the visiting team and fans who would be making the long trip.
'Details of the rearranged fixture date will be announced shortly. For season ricket holders and advances ticket sales, your ticket will be automatically transferred to the rearranged fixture date.'
For the Stars it means no decision needs to be made on whether Robert Lambert can ride or not following the wrist injury he picked up at the weekend – and improved his chances of making the GB team for the first event iof the Speedway World Cup, at King's Lynn, on Saturday.
