King’s Lynn Stars have finalised the dates for their Knockout Cup final against the Somerset Rebels.

The Stars will travel to the Oaktree Arena on Wednesday, October 17 (7.30pm) with the decider at the Adrian Flux Arena following just 24 hours later, on Thursday, October 18 (7.30pm).

Team boss Dale Allitt said: “With the two fixtures being so close together we think that sets the final up really nicely.

“It’s good for the competition that the final silverware of the season will be decided within the space of a couple of days and we’re looking forward to two entertaining fixtures against a strong Somerset side.”

Before that the Stars will be kept busy as they gear up for one of the biggest nights in the club’s history.

On Monday (7.30pm) they host the Belle Vue Aces in the second leg of their Premiership play-off semi-final. The Stars won the first leg 49-41 in Manchester on Monday. In the other semi-final Somerset beat Poole 46-44 in the first leg.
