King's Lynn Stars' sensational start to the season hit the skids this afternoon – thanks to the weather.
In-form Lynn, who have won three of their four meetings this term, were hoping to collect more Elite League points in their return meeting at Coventry Bees.
But it was postponed at lunchtime due to a waterlogged track leaving the Stars frustrated by rain once again.
The Norfolk Arena club will hope things brighten up in the coming months so they don't have a repeat of the nine call-offs that they did in 2012.
Rob Lyon's men return to action, weather permitting, at home to Eastbourne on Wednesday.
