King's Lynn Town boss Gary Setchell has demanded his side put St Neots 'to the sword' this evening at The Walks, kick-off 7.45pm.
The Linnets have struggled against sides in the lower echelons of the Evo-Stik Premier Division and with St Neots battling against relegation they could be a potential banana skin for Setchell's men.
Lynn have shown they can compete against the division's leading lights, as demonstrated in Saturday's 0-0 draw against Leamington, and Setchell wants his side to replicate that intensity against struggling sides.
'We normally play against someone in the bottom four and they turn us over – that's been our problem,' said Setchell. 'No disrespect to St Neots, they are on a bad run and we've got to put them to the sword. We have taken 18 or 19 points off teams in the top eight but we've taken only eight or nine points from teams in the bottom eight. We've got to get to February next year and be in the mix.'
