King's Lynn joint boss Gary Setchell insists 25-goal top scorer Jack Defty is not leaving The Walks.
Mounting speculation had linked the homegrown captain with a move to Kettering and a return from Conference North Corby for ex-Linnet Michael Frew.
Setchell reiterated on Friday morning it is business as usual ahead of tomorrow's FA Vase trip to Beckenham.
'Corby did contact us to say Michael would be available for a month,' said Setchell, 'That would mean moving a player out to balance the budget and it is not something we would want to do. If there was an option to make it a season-long deal then we might have looked at it. As for Jack going I don't know where that has come from. There is no truth in it whatsoever. He is a very important player for us.'
