King’s Lynn ace Lasse Bjerre ruled out
King's Lynn have been forced into a change to their all-conquering home septet after Lasse Bjerre was ruled out of the Good Friday Elite League meeting against Poole. (7pm)
Bjerre is now unavailable following a late Easter fixture change in his Danish racing calendar. Potential replacement Sam Masters is also on Premier League duty so Lynn will draft in Sheffield ace Josh Auty.
A club statement read: 'Lasse Bjerre will not be available to ride at King's Lynn due to a late change to a compulsory Danish Motor Union (DMU) fixture from Sunday to Saturday morning. This is unfortunate for the club as his doubling up partner, Sam Masters is already booked to ride for his Premier League club that day. After considering all options carefully the management are more than happy to secure the services of Josh Auty as a guest, who will also be riding at Ipswich earlier the same day.'
The Stars bid for a fourth straight top flight win against the pre-season title favourites who track ex-Lynn racer and double World U21 champion Darcy Ward.
