Norfolk Lions moved off the bottom of the East of England Development Competition table with a narrow two-wicket win at Huntingdonshire.

Played at Waresley CC, Norfolk won the toss and put the hosts in to bat first, dismissing the hosts for 251 inside 47 overs with Matthew Taylor leading the way with three wickets for 44 runs. Joe Everett and Freddie Ruffell also took two wickets each, with Everett bowling Conor Craig for 90.

Jordan Everett fall for 14 following a steady start but wicketkeeper John Ewart teamed up with Oscar Binney to put on 70 for the second wicket, Binney trapped lbw for 36 with the score at 95 for two.

Ewart was bowled having put on 58 but a middle-order partnership of 84 from David Turner (42) and Alfie Cooper (53) helped keep the chase on track and the visitors reached their target with two wickets in hand.
