Immy Leeder leads the way as Dereham Golf Club juniors do battle

Dereham Golf Club's junior members played for the Scratch Cup and the Wiseman Trophy sponsored by club member John Batty.

On another sunny spring afternoon the 18-hole Scratch Cup was won by Immy Leeder with a gross 78, followed by Liam Kevern with a gross 84.

The Wiseman Trophy saw Charlotte Chisholm taking top spot with an excellent nett 65, beating junior captain Matthew Goodman (84-17=67) into second place. Charley Brett won the nine-hole scratch competition and Charlie Eke the nine-hole nett prize. The five-hole competition saw Will Farrelly take home his first piece of silverware.

Meanwhile Eaton Ladies' captain Monica Dorrington hosted the club's past captains' lunch, with an impressive tally of 21 past captains attending the annual event.

• Lewis King won Thetord's March Midweek Stableford with 38 points off a handicap of 13. He pipped Derek Kneebone.
