NORFOLK TWENTY20 CUP: Norfolk coach Chris Brown was at his economical best as Horsford beat Norwich by nine runs in a thrilling Norfolk Twenty20 encounter at Manor Park on Thursday night.
Norwich looked well placed to overhaul their opponents' total of 163-8 until Brown entered the attack and bowled four overs for just six runs, while taking a wicket for good measure.
Ryan Findlay also played a key role, taking 3-25 in four overs.
Dan Clark was the mainstay of Horsford's innings, scoring 65, while Chris Borrett took 4-24. Ali Horsley was the top scorer for Norwich as they finished on 154-7.
The competition resumes on Monday when Acle face Horsford at Manor Park (6pm).
