Holt will be looking to take another giant step towards promotion from London 3NE tomorrow when they travel to South Woodham Ferrers.

The Owls will be hoping to achieve another double, having won 36-10 at High Kelling earlier in the season.

They will find South Woodham a hard nut to crack, however, as they have won seven out of their 16 games, including an away win at Norwich recently.

Holt go into the fixture 16 points clear of second-placed Harlow, with Stowmarket a further five points adrift. With a top two finish required to secure promotion the champagne will be on ice if they can return from Essex with their 17th win in 18 league fixtures this season.

Holt would then be in a position to confirm a place in London 2NE next season – possibly alongside North Walsham – when they play host to East London on Saturday week.

Having lost their last league game at home to South Woodham Ferrers and losing to Newmarket last week in the RFU Vase Norwich need to get back to winning ways tomorrow.

They face a potentially difficult contest at East London who had a thumping win over Stowmarket last week.

Frenchman Yannick Pousse plays at full-back with Dan Grohland on the right wing and Joe Srokowski at scrum-half. Captain Jonny Wheater and Doug Greenwood continue in the centre with David Smiley on the other wing. In the pack Chris Drohan is in the second row in place of Gareth Leake – still suffering from the after effects of concussion which means that Simon Darby plays at No 8. Flanker Paul Micklethwaite is injured but brother David is hoping to be fit to make up the back row with Simon Atkinson.

After enduring a torrid time at Sudbury last week following a spate of injuries, Wymondham again find themselves struggling ahead of their visit to London side Campion.

Back rower Sam Hodgson had his worst fears confirmed when an X-ray confirmed a season ending broken leg. The other casualty from the Sudbury game, hooker Tom Masters, appears to have recovered sufficiently to be in the mix for selection. Captain Pena Sokia is still suffering with a knee injury and is unlikely to make the squad although Barry O'Sullivan will make a welcome return.

In Division 2NE fourth placed Lowestoft & Yarmouth travel to mid-table Woodford while Beccles continue their battle against the drop at a Chelmsford side who also have little to play for. It is still conceivable that one bonus point victory might see Beccles safe on 14 points in 10th spot on points difference so there is still everything to play for.
