WEST NORFOLK LEAGUE: Hayley East Anglia moved to the top of Division One of the West Norfolk Cricket League on Saturday with Adam Burch taking 4-7 in a 76 run victory against Bircham.

Sandringham completed a narrow eight run victory against Springwood to move into second place.

Batsmen dominated, with Richard Hurst scoring 85 and Ian Perrin 55 for Sandingham and Darren Clark 97 and Perry Dawson 60 for Springwood.

Oz UK man-of-the-match Paul Morton carried his bat for a magnificent 130, which included 14 fours and six sixes, for Denver against Terrington.

Ben Hodgson took 5-46 and Jason Young scored 58 as Terrington went on to win by six wickets.

Adam Dabin (51) and Jonny Bidewell (53no) helped Swanton Morley to a comfortable nine wicket victory against bottom of the table The Creakes.

In Division Two Hospital's Vijay Bandikatla laid the foundation for his side's 22 run victory with his 88. Downham B were always in the hunt until Alan Thulbourne was last man out for 72.

Elliot Whiting scored 56 for Castle Acre in their 70 run victory against Fakenham A despite an unbeaten 83 from Chris Crane.

Thornham went to the top of the Division Three table with a 72 run victory against Heacham.

Kevin Williamson scored 93 and Paul Lough turned in a good all-round performance, scoring 64 and taking 6-28.

Holt's Michael Curtis took 5-59 in his side's 63 run victory against Mundford A.

Swaffham A's Alexander Payne top scored with an unbeaten 128, with good contributions from Chris Upton 61 and Robert Howling 51. Mike Annakin 5-39 and J Grass 4-12 completed an impressive 185 run victory against Beeston.

Beetley consolidated their lead in Division Four with Keith Daykin scoring an unbeaten 72 in their 166 run victory against Gayton.

Swanton Morley A's David Powell took 5-22 in their 69 run victory against Castle Acre A.

Fakenham B's Dean Futter scored 70 but couldn't prevent his side losing to Snettisham A, for whom David Twiddy took 4-32, by an agonising one run.

In Division Five Tom Simpson scored 66 for Dereham B and Matt Roth took 5-24 in their 92 run victory against Downham C, for whom Dom Corbett took 5-23.

Dan Harper (51) and James Harper (54) helped Denver A beat Northwold A by 110 runs.

Heacham A were unable to raise a team against Long Sutton A. Unfortunately this was the third occasion they have conceded this season and so they have been withdrawn from the league.

In order to preserve the player averages, all of the matches they did play this season will be re-classified as walkovers as opposed to being deleted.
