Crusaders 13, West Norfolk 29: West Nofolk kept their Eastern Counties One campaign going strong with a convincing win.

They started the game strongly and took the lead when Craig Edwards touched down following good handling by West's backs.

But the game was turned on its head when Crusaders hit back with a Smith penalty and a Leon Morrel's try to lead 8-5 at the interval. Crusaders continued to dominate and a George try, created by a fine Will Crome break in the centre, meant the visitors needed to score twice to prevent the home team recording only their second win of the season.

Crusaders were pressing for a match-clinching score when Edwards picked up a loose ball in front of his own posts and beat the home cover with ease to touch down under the posts.

With Crusaders still leading 13-12, another loose pass was intercepted by West wing Chamber who ran the full length of the pitch before presenting his supporting fly-half with a try under the posts, Foreman again converting.

The same player added a penalty from 40 meters and another interception ended in teenage centre Edwards completing his hat-trick.
