The title shoot-out on the final day of the Almary Green Anglian Combination Premier Division season has been confirmed – setting up a weekend thriller between Spixworth and Harleston.

Winning 2-0 at already relegated Cromer Town tonight saw Harleston complete their games in hand to move within two points of leaders Spixworth with one game remaining.

Goals from Connor Delaney and Nathan Russell made sure of the victory and tee up a title showdown for the top two at Harleston on Saturday, in a 2.30pm kick-off.

The two teams have dominated the Premier Division this year, losing just once, but Spixworth have drawn one less to sit top and will know a draw will ensure they claim the crown ahead of promotion to the Thurlow Nunn League. Harleston have scored 100 in 29 games and Spixworth have managed 98.

Sixth-placed Blofield United also completed their campaign last night, drawing 1-1 at Long Stratton.
