Harleston Magpies turned on the style at Spalding, winning a one-sided Premier A encounter 10-2.

They made a flying start and were 3-0 up in eight minutes, with an own goal followed by efforts from Mark Flatman and Matt Bensley.

Spalding then pulled one back but Magpies continued to string the passes together and by half-time the score was 6-1 as Thomas Ridley. Flatman, with his second, and Matt Richardson got in on the act.

Harleston stayed composed in the second half and added to their tally with Flatman completing his hat-trick and Leigh Sitch, Ridley and player coach Tim Whiteman also on target.

A young Dereham side put in a mixed performance in Premier B and came up short against a more experienced City of Peterborough II side, losing 6-3. After conceding early Dereham went 3-1 up through Falko Rosbergen, Chris Edwards and Will Dewing. But Peterborough pulled one back before the break and scored four times in the second as the visitors tired.
