Harleston Magpies Ladies made it back-to-back wins in the East Conference by brushing aside Chelmsford at Weybread.

Magpies followed up the previous weekend's 3-1 success over Barnes by romping home 6-1 against the division's bottom side.

The hosts were 4-0 up at the break and added another two to their tally before the visitors from Essex scored a consolation.

The goals were shared around, with Louise Greenacre, Lucy Whiting, Martha Lawrence, Rose Winter, Charlotte Summers and Lauren Rowe on the scoresheet.

The following day Magpies were in action at Premier Division outfit Buckingham in EH National Cup and gave an excellent account of themselves against higher ranked opposition before losing 2-0. The visitors, who included a number of less experienced players, were in the game until five minutes from time when they were caught on the break when pushing hard for an equaliser.
