Harleston Magpies had a busy weekend in Premier B, winning 4-0 at Ipswich before drawing 4-4 with high-flying Wapping at Weybread.

Magpies were quickly into their stride at Ipswich and took the lead when Giles Flatt found an unmarked Jake Sewell who converted at the back post.

The crucial second goal eventually arrived in the second half after Sewell had been brought down by the goalkeeper, with Tim Whiteman converting the resulting penalty stroke.

Elliot Marsh's delivery was then finished off by Mark Flatman before Richard Larkin deflected home a cross to complete the scoring.

On Sunday Wapping were ahead within 30 seconds and although Leigh Sitch quickly converted a short corner to equalise the hosts went in at half-time 2-1 ahead before adding to their lead early in the second period.

Harleston pulled one back when Flatt delivered an sweetly struck reverse ball that was finished by Sewell. Wapping quickly made it 4-2 but there was another excellent response, with Marsh deflecting the ball in with 10 minutes to go and Whiteman converting another stroke to equalise a couple of minutes later.

Norwich City slipped to fifth in Premier B after being held to a 2-2 draw by visitors West Herts II.

City went ahead when captain Nick Jones slotted home. West Herts equalised after the break but the hosts produced a good response and got their noses back in front through Ed Sutton's volley. However, from the last play of the game West Herts won a short corner which produced a scrappy equaliser.

Dereham came away from Ipswich and East Suffolk empty handed after being beaten 3-2. The visitors conceded two early goals and went 3-0 down early in the second half. Dereham pulled a goal back through a calm finish from midfielder Will Edwards and reduced the deficit still further right on time through a short corner goal from Chris Edwards.

Norwich City II won 5-3 at Dereham II to consolidate second placed in Division 2NE. Dan Cheesman scored four times for the visitors while Richard Silvester was also on target.

Leaders Harleston Magpies II beat City of Peterborough III 3-1 to maintain their perfect record.
